COVID-19 Precautions
Updated July 2022
UCSF adheres to the San Francisco Department of Public Health COVID-19 health requirements, and, in some instances, our requirements are more stringent given UCSF's unique role as an academic, medical, and research enterprise. Event guidance is based on U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Community Level Classification for campus event settings, and UCSF’s enterprise transmission risk levels. The 2022 UCSF Vascular Symposium will adhere to the following health and safety precautions:
- Meeting space will be set with socially distanced seating to allow 6-feet of space between place settings.
- Indoor masking is required. We will have masks available at our registration desk for your convenience.
- Food & beverage will not be allowed in the indoor meeting space. We have plenty of outdoor space available for attendees.
- All attendees must be up to date on vaccinations meaning fully vaccinated plus booster once eligible.
There are differing opinions about mitigation measures so we ask that everyone show respect to each other’s comfort levels. Our goal is to create a safe and worry-free environment as much as possible.
